About

There’s a gap between the people selling AI and the people who have to answer for it.

Roadrunner exists to sit in that gap — a specialist practice for firms that operate under supervision.

Founder & Director, Roadrunner

Roadrunner was founded by Jasper Ladkin, a software engineer turned entrepreneur and operations specialist who helps regulated firms bring AI into their workflows.

He currently serves as COO of Perella, a gaming-analytics venture, and earlier founded Tidal Analytics, designing the modeling algorithms for energy commodities markets.

Roadrunner grew out of exactly this kind of work: partnering with a middle-market M&A firm on its AI adoption, including authoring the internal policy that governs how the firm uses these tools under its supervisory obligations. Today he works as the Director of Applied AI on Roadrunner engagements — mapping how a firm actually operates, designing the systems around it, and managing the build with development partners.

He’s also an accredited high school ski racing coach, which, like the rest of the work, is mostly about knowing that the fastest line is rarely the one that feels fastest.

How we work

We’re deliberately small and specialized rather than a general AI shop. That means we start from how your firm is actually examined, we tell you honestly when the answer is to buy rather than build, and we’d rather ship one system your team actually adopts than a stack of impressive demos. When a project needs deeper technical build capacity, we bring in trusted development partners rather than overselling what a lean practice does alone.

Engineering is delivered with Yote Innovations, our development partner — a team we’ve shipped production systems with.

Roadrunner leads the architecture and product design; Yote brings the engineering depth to build it securely and at scale.
